A League Like No Other
A weekly team‑based golf experience for children aged 8 to 12 — perfect for beginners, growing competitors and kids who want something different from the usual sports.
What is the GolfStarz League?
A game based Golf League that EXCITES, builds CONFIDENCE and encourages TEAMWORK through FUN and FRIENDLY COMPETITION.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience in playing golf, both boys and girls of all abilities are welcome to join the Golfstarz League and enjoy a fun and uniquely thrilling experience!

How it works:

Choose one of our GolfStarz teams illustrated below (5 players per team) and join the weekly fun! Welcome pack included in registration (shirt, cap, balls). - PLAY IN A 10 WEEK LEAGUE
All matches take place at one host venue with teams competing each week - including a free practice round. - WARM‑UP & SAFETY BRIEFING
Our trained GolfStarz coaches get everyone ready and confident before play begins. - ONE HOUR LEAGUE MATCH
Teams rotate through 3 or 4 activity zones taking on golf‑based challenges and earning points. A live leaderboard keeps the excitement high! - PODIUM TIME!
The Head Coach announces the top teams, awards medals, and hands out bonus prizes. - GUARANTEED SMILES EVERY WEEK 😄

Paul Heal Biography
Paul is the lead coach and owner of Golfstarz North Surrey, offering fun and inclusive children’s golf lessons across Surrey. A lifelong golfer and former junior champion, Paul started his franchise in November 2024 and has already taught over 200 children through school programmes, youth clubs, holiday camps, and community events.
In 2025, Golfstarz North Surrey was proudly awarded Best Franchise at the Spelthorne Business Awards, recognising Paul’s passion, high-quality coaching, and impact in the local community.
Paul focuses on making golf accessible, confidence‑building, and enjoyable for every child — from complete beginners to budding young players. His mission is to help children develop new skills, grow their confidence, and discover the lifelong benefits of golf.."

FREE PRACTICE ROUND
Before a league tees off, your child can come along to a FREE practice session, whereby he or she can get a taste of what participating in the Golfstarz League will be like and how much fun they will have playing in it.
Your son or daughter will go through some basic coaching drills then the real FUN begins! They will get to have a go at BUNKER BLASTER and TRICK SHOT ALLEY - guaranteed to make them scream with excitement!
And if by the end of the practice round, they want to give the League a go and experience the thrills of competition, your dedicated Golfstarz Head Coach will enter your child into a team, taking into account their preferred choice they stated when registering their interest.
They will then take away their own team colours and scorecard, ready for the start of the League and Match 1 the following week. It's that simple!

FAQs
Does my child need golf experience?
No. The league is designed for all abilities, including complete beginners. Games are designed so every child gets equal turns, lots of support and simple early wins.
What happens in a session?
Each 60‑minute session includes:
• Warm-up games
• Team putting/chipping challenges
• Individual skill stations
• Golden Shot opportunities + awards
What equipment does my child need?
Nothing — all equipment is provided. Children just need comfortable clothing and trainers.
How are teams organised?
Teams of 4–5 children, grouped by schools, friendship groups, age, or mixed ability (depending on numbers).
How does scoring work?
Teams earn points from fun relay games, skill stations and bonus awards. Every team scores league points each week, no one finishes with zero!
What if my child misses a week?
No problem — they simply rejoin the following session. Teams can continue without one player.
Can parents watch?
Yes — parents are welcome to stay and support all children positively.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. We use child‑friendly equipment, small groups and clear safety rules.
Are there awards?
Yes! Weekly awards (Best Teammate, Most Improved, Shot of the Week etc.) plus a fun end‑of‑league finale.
What if my child has additional needs?
